Abstract

The practice of murabahah murakkabah contracts is a new practice and also a breakthrough in transactions in the Islamic economy. This study aims to understand the murabahah murabahah contract and its application in Islamic financial institutions. The most important thing in creating Islamic banking and financial products to meet the demands of modern society is the development of multiple contracts. The single contract form is no longer able to respond to contemporary financial transactions. The multi-contract method should be the mainstay in product development. Contracts in Islamic transactions are transformed from ordinary contracts to attractive ones, where these contracts are found in almost all Islamic products. The Murakkab contract or multi-contract (al-Uqud al-Murakkabah) is one example in Islamic banking, whose implementation is evolving in line with business developments.
