Fintech: Journal of Islamic Finance utilizes an online submission and editorial system to ensure an efficient, transparent, and standardized manuscript handling process.

  1. Registration and Login

Authors are required to register as an author in the journal’s online system before submitting a manuscript. Registration and login can be completed through the journal’s website. If already registered, authors may simply log in and proceed with the submission.

  1. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS) by following these steps:

  • Start Submission – Select the appropriate journal section and agree to the submission checklist.
  • Upload Submission – Upload the manuscript file in the required format (Microsoft Word).
  • Enter Metadata – Provide complete author details, title, abstract, and keywords.
  • Upload Supplementary Files – Add supporting documents (if any), such as ethical clearance, datasets, or cover letter.
  • Confirmation – Review all submitted information and confirm the submission.

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript follows the journal’s Author Guidelines and template;
  • The submission has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere;
  • All metadata entered in the system is accurate and complete;
  • The manuscript file has been anonymized for the double-blind peer-review process.
  1. Tracking Submission

Authors can track the progress of their manuscript through their account in the OJS system. Notifications regarding review results, revision requests, and editorial decisions will be communicated via email and the journal platform.
