Abstract

The development of industrial technology today causes the complexity of knowledge about halal products. This, among other things, triggers consumer awareness of halal products, and is followed by the desire of producers to fulfill their rights to the halal industry globally. This trend is followed by many industries, one of these industries is the batik industry. Batik is one of the fishions used by Madurese people from all walks of life in several important events so that the development of this batik fishion has given rise to batik production. This study uses a qualitative research study with observation methods and interviews with several industries and batik users. In this study, the author will dig deeper into batik, which is no longer a traditional dress but has become a fashion used by people in all walks of life, focusing on the trend of the halal industry and the implementation of the trend of the halal industry in the Madura batik home industry. Based on the findings of the data in the field, all batik in the place that is the focus of the researcher's research, namely Pamekasan, is written batik that is processed according to sharia. Basically, the batik industry prioritizes the halalness of their products based on Islamic sharia, so that batik becomes a halal profession and industry in fiqh studies.
