Implementasi Zakat Garam Di Desa Padelegan Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan

Abstract

Zakat is an act of worship that must be done by Muslims. Currently, there are many ijtihad from the scholars regarding the assets that must be zakat, one of which is salt zakat. The ijtihad of the scholars regarding the nash of salt zakat is different there are scholars who say that the nash of salt zakat follows agricultural zakat, trade zakat, and mining zakat. The purpose of this paper is to find out the implementation of salt zakat in Padelegan Village, Pademawu Subdistrict, Pamekasan Regency. This research uses the type of Empirical Juridical research which in English is called Sociolegal Research. Empirical legal research is a legal research method that serves to be able to see the law in real terms and examine how the law works in society. The results of the writing show that salt farmers in Padelegan village, Pademawu sub-district, Pamekasan regency still do not apply zakat from salt ponds, but only do infaq and shadaqah. Whereas between zakat infaq and shadaqah have differences mainly on the nash and haul. Regarding salt zakat, the nash and haul can follow agricultural zakat, trade zakat, and mining zakat.
